About Me
Welcome. My name is Alison Bird. I trained to be an Image Consultant in 2004 and have been loving my job ever since.
In 2004 I was invited to have my ‘colours’ done by a friend of mine and thought it was so kind to be invited that I would go. That day ended up being the turning point in my career. I was completely engrossed with all the colour work and couldn’t believe how much fun our group of four were having. At the end of the session I came home beaming and started to find out about the career of an Image Consultant. As it happened the Image Consultant, who did my Colour Analysis, had a training course coming up in two months and was finalising enrolments- as they say the rest was history!
I love my job for so many reasons. I love fashion, make-up, clothes, design….and more. The most rewarding part of my job is watching poeple change infront of my eyes. Many of my clients are very harsh on themselves and their visual perception of their bodies is quite sad. I empower women to take another look through objective eyes and give them tools to dress their unique body and frame their best features. I help my clients to develop their ‘Clothing Personality’ to find out how they want to be seen and how their personality can come out in their clothes.
I watch people grow, change and see their self confidence improve dramatically.
